UX Designer, Researcher and Design Thinking Facilitator

I specialize in digital transformation and user interface enhancement across corporate and startup environments, with expertise in Financial Services, ESG, Healthcare, Insurance, and Data Visualization.

Highlights of my experience

At London Stock Exchange/Refinitiv I spearheaded the development and launch of an ESG reporting tool, securing a multimillion-dollar deal with the Malaysian Stock Exchange.

During my tenure I planned the UX strategy of Sustainable Finance Innovation Projects (ESG) throughout the innovation cycle, delivering operational artifacts at each stage, including problem discovery, solution definition, and final UX/UI documentation handover. I also enhanced my ESG knowledge and got certified by CFA. Besides this I co-wrote a white paper about spotting anomalies in ESG data using an LSEG proprietary methodology and UI. On a daily basis I conducted discovery user interviews, facilitated Design Thinking workshops, and ran usability test sessions, focusing my design efforts on data visualizations for enhanced clarity and usability.

At Mastercard, I led customer engagements for the Innovation Lab, delivering consulting, culture programs, and innovation products.

I led groups of senior stakeholders through design thinking exercises, facilitated a series of one-week design sprints intense workshops for multiple clients in financial services. Activities included envisioning, ideation, product planning, issue resolution, and prototyping, ensuring the development of actionable solutions.
Using these activities as vehicle for selling Mastercard payment technologies, I generated $180K in revenue from design sprint workshops and advisory services alone, while also opening new avenues for tech licensing. 

At CXA Group, I revamped the entire CXA product suite, leading to a 12% increase in customer adoption over the first year.

In this insure-tech startup I acted as a bridge between business and engineering, nurturing ideas throughout agile sprints, while advocating for UX across the organization to help establish lasting UX practices. This included creating typical UX design templates and initialise frameworks for user research thru the customer base. I addition to this I personally expanded and mentored the design team. This role also involved a considerable amount of senior stakeholders management as the Insurance industry is notoriously opaque and innovation resistant.
Finally the complete re-design of the product was pivotal in expanding into the Hong Kong market.
